Our Role in Spiritual Growth
The church exists to honor and glorify God by equipping it's members for ministry within the church and those still outside of the church. We accomplish this through Sunday sermons, Life Application classes, small groups, service projects and mission trips.
We take our role seriously accordingly to Ephesians 4:12-16 to equip the saints for the work of ministry, that is, to build up the body of Christ, until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God—a mature person, attaining to the measure of Christ’s full stature. So we are no longer to be children, tossed back and forth by waves and carried about by every wind of teaching by the trickery of people who craftily carry out their deceitful schemes. But practicing the truth in love, we will in all things grow up into Christ, who is the head. From him the whole body grows, fitted and held together through every supporting ligament. As each one does its part, the body grows in love.
Our Hope for Your Spiritual Growth
Our preachers and teachers will study God's Word with intensity and passion to ensure we study the whole Word...and nothing but the Word (so please help us Lord!). We don't expect Sunday sermons or classes to be the sole cause for spiritual growth in our members. Therefore we encourage each other to participate in yearly Bible reading plans and daily devotionals.
It's our prayer that these resources will help deepen our members relationship with Jesus Christ, growing in knowledge and application of the Word of God.
